I have been a practicing artist and craftsperson since 1974 when I graduated from the University of Michigan College of Architecture and Design. I am currently a high school art teacher as well as a working artist.
I had been painting with oils and acrylics for many years when I became intrigued by the idea of creating digital art. Creating images with a computer is exciting, engrossing, and satisfying. I love the richness of the layered image. Each image requires many hours of work to create. The work displayed here is based on personal images: photographs that have meaning to me that I have taken in color and in black and white.
